The Paddle Antrim Festival on September 18 & 19, 2015 includes a two-day kayak paddle covering over 40 miles of Northern Michigan’s Chain of Lakes. The Paddle Antrim Festival is a festival to celebrate the waterways and local communities that make the Chain of Lakes so great. The Festival includes a non-competitive two-day kayak event spanning most of Antrim County’s Chain of Lakes from Ellsworth to Elk Rapids. The first day encompasses Ellsworth Lake, Wilson Lake, Ben-Way Lake, and Hanley Lake for a total of 16 miles. The second day covers Intermediate River, Lake Bellaire, Grass River, Clam Lake, Torch Lake, Torch River, Lake Skegemog, Elk Lake, and Elk River for another 27 miles. This paddle celebrates the amazing waterways and local communities here to enjoy in Northern Michigan. As listed on their website, we’re one of the recommended places to stop in for a drink or gourmet food on Saturday as the paddlers come in!
